Moving Out Information for Homeowners
Planning on moving out soon? Please read the following. Note that your move out date must be at the end of a month.
Advertise your home for sale – You can put signs on your home and advertise as you would like. Please mention on any ads that they must contact you directly, not the office.
Found a potential buyer – Stop and do not take payment for the house or hand over the title until the new tenant is approved by the office. Once you and the potential new owner agree on a price and move date, send them directly to the office to apply. Hold on to the title until you confirm with the office that the new tenant is approved.
**YOUR LEASE AGREEMENT DOES NOT END UNTIL A NEW TENANT SIGNS A NEW LEASE FOR YOUR LOT, REGARDLESS OF WHO OWNS THE HOME**
Confirm with the office that they are approved. Do not take their word for it. You then may take payment from them and hand over the title.
Deposit & forwarding address – Provide your new forwarding address to the office as well as when your last month will be. Your deposit will be sent to your new address within 30 days of your move out date, if applicable. To get your full security deposit back, your lot must be within all park rules and regulations. Including but not limited to: grass and weeds maintained, no debris/trash left outside, no holes in skirting, exterior colors are neutral, steps in safe condition, etc. Move out inspections are available upon request to tell you what needs to be done to get your deposit back in full.
